Saudi Tadawul Index Edges Up 0.10% on Industrial Sector Strength

Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Share index closed 0.10% higher on Sunday, finding support from targeted gains in key sectors. The modest advance came amid a mixed trading session where declining stocks narrowly outnumbered advancers.
Sector Performance and Market Breadth
The primary drivers behind the index's upward move were the Industrial Investment, Cement, and Building & Construction sectors, according to market data.
However, the overall market sentiment was less decisive. Data from the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange showed that 159 stocks fell while 154 advanced, with 25 companies ending the session unchanged. This negative market breadth suggests the day's gains were not broad-based across the exchange.
Top Movers
Several individual stocks posted significant moves, influencing the session's outcome. The top-performing stocks included:
Ad- LIVA Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8280), which surged 9.93% to close at 14.61, a new 52-week high.
- Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (TADAWUL:4270), which added 9.91% to end at 7.21.
- Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140), climbing 8.89% to finish at 2.45.
On the other end, the session's biggest decliners were led by Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which fell 4.76%, and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (TADAWUL:2030), which dropped 4.08%.

In the broader commodities market, oil prices were trading lower. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for August delivery declined by 0.93% to $71.41 a barrel, while Brent crude for September delivery fell 0.38% to $76.01 a barrel.
In currency markets, the USD/SAR pair was stable at 3.75, while the US Dollar Index Futures saw a slight increase of 0.07% to 100.76.
