Earnings Beat and Upgraded Forecast
Roper reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $5.38 for the second quarter, surpassing the analyst consensus of $5.29. Revenue for the period grew 9% year-over-year to $2.11 billion, slightly ahead of the estimated $2.10 billion.

Strong Cash Flow and Capital Returns
AdThe company's operational strength was further underscored by robust cash flow generation. According to the release, GAAP operating cash flow increased 16% to $469 million, while adjusted free cash flow rose 11% to $447 million.
Roper also continued its aggressive capital return program, repurchasing 3.6 million shares for $1.2 billion during the second quarter. This brings the total for the current buyback program to 9.0 million shares for $3.2 billion.
Market Context
