Summary
The aerospace and defense company secured follow-on orders from a U.S. defense entity to supply its Stalker uncrewed aircraft systems, building on a previous contract from earlier in the year.
Shares of Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) rose after the company announced it secured $21.5 million in follow-on orders for its Stalker uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS). The news, announced Wednesday, pushed the company's stock up by 4.6% during the trading session.
Contract Details
The new purchase orders were awarded in the second quarter of 2026 by the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Robotic Autonomous Systems (PAE RAS). They support the U.S. Marine Corps' Aircraft Program Management Office (AIR PMO) and its Family of Small UAS Team.
The procurement includes a second Advanced Stalker Block 30 system as well as additional standard systems. According to the announcement, the procurement was facilitated through the Defense Logistics Agency Tailored Logistics Support contract, with Atlantic Diving Supply acting as the prime contractor.
Continued Momentum
AdThis latest contract builds on a previous $20 million award that Redwire received from the AIR PMO in the first quarter of 2026. That initial order marked the Marine Corps' first acquisition of the Advanced Navigation version of the Stalker Block 30 UAS.
These acquisitions signify the Marine Corps' ongoing commitment to modernizing its existing fleet, which currently includes hundreds of Redwire's Stalker platforms. Each advanced system delivered under the contract includes:
- Air vehicles
- ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) camera payloads
- A range of ground control stations
