Partners Group Holding AG is exploring a potential sale of Parmaco Oy, a Finnish manufacturer of modular buildings, in a deal that could value the company at approximately €1.5 billion ($1.7 billion). The Swiss-based private equity firm has enlisted Bank of America Corp. to advise on its options, according to a Bloomberg report citing people familiar with the matter.
Following the news, shares of Partners Group (SIX:PGHN) traded 1.8% higher in Europe.
Potential Divestment Details
Deliberations are in a preliminary phase, and Partners Group may ultimately decide to retain the asset, the report noted. Should the firm proceed with a sale, a transaction would most likely occur in 2027.
Partners Group acquired Parmaco in 2021 from a consortium of investors led by Terra Firma Capital Partners for an undisclosed amount. The potential exit highlights ongoing private equity demand for infrastructure-adjacent assets that benefit from stable, long-term revenue streams tied to public sector clients.
