Notable Gainers
AdDespite the broader market downturn, a few stocks posted strong gains. Hydrogen solutions provider Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was the top performer, rising 4.90% to 2.14. In the shipping sector, Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) added 2.68% to finish at 93.90, reaching a new all-time high. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) also climbed, gaining 2.19% to end at 485.40.
Commodities and Currencies
In commodities, oil prices were mixed. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for October delivery rose 0.29% to $102.21 a barrel, while Brent crude for November delivery slipped 0.66% to $104.13 a barrel. Gold futures for December delivery saw a marginal decline of 0.06%.
In the currency markets, the Norwegian krone weakened against the U.S. dollar, with the USD/NOK pair rising 0.23% to 9.43. The U.S. Dollar Index Futures, which tracks the greenback against a basket of other currencies, was up 0.17% to 100.15.
