Contract Details
The order was formally awarded to DZYNE Technologies, which Ondas acquired and now operates as its U.S. defense division, Ondas Sentinel. The deal was secured through HIFraser, an in-country distributor, and is for the company's DTIM Single Operator Counter-sUAS Kits.
According to the company's announcement, these kits provide a comprehensive solution for drone threats. Key features include:
Ad- Integrated Detect, Track, Identify, and Mitigate (DTIM) capability.
- A combination of a DTI detection platform and the Dronebuster (DB4) handheld effector, a system with over 3,000 units deployed globally.
- Long-range, omnidirectional drone detection of up to 25+ kilometers.
- AI-powered drone identification and real-time threat alerts.
Strategic Importance and Outlook
Company executives framed the contract as a validation of their technology and a sign of a strengthening market. "Australia’s investment in Ondas’ DTIM Kits underscores the increasing global priority around counter-UAS readiness and the need for trusted, scalable technologies," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas.
Ryan Hartman, President and CEO of Ondas Sentinel, added that the order "reflects the growing demand we are seeing from allied defense customers for practical, field-ready counter-UAS capabilities." Ondas Sentinel is set to begin delivery of the systems and stated it is prepared to support future expansions of Australia's counter-drone capabilities.
