Nordex SE has secured an order from German developer DenkerWulf to supply nine wind turbines for a project in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The company announced on Tuesday that the deal totals 51.3 megawatts (MW) of capacity and includes a long-term service contract.
Order Details
The order is for the Bredenbek wind farm located in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district. Nordex will deliver nine of its N149/5.X turbine models, each with a rated capacity of 5.7 MW.
Key specifications for the project include:
- Total Capacity: 51.3 MW
- Turbine Model: Nine N149/5.X units
- Hub Height: 105 metres
AdInstallation is scheduled to commence in autumn 2027, with the first turbine expected to be commissioned in December 2027. The agreement also includes a Premium Service contract for the turbines covering a period of 20 years, providing a long-term revenue stream for Nordex.
Continued Partnership
This latest contract strengthens the existing relationship between Nordex and DenkerWulf. The developer had previously placed orders with Nordex at the end of 2025 for three other wind farms in Schleswig-Holstein, totaling more than 122 MW.
DenkerWulf is an established player in the German renewable energy market, with experience covering over 970 installed turbines and more than 2.25 gigawatts (GW) of installed capacity across ten German states. For investors, this repeat business from a significant regional developer signals confidence in Nordex's technology and service offerings within its key domestic market.
