Currency and Commodity Markets
In the currency markets, the Moroccan dirham weakened against the U.S. dollar, with the USD/MAD pair rising 0.48% to 9.58. The EUR/MAD pair saw a smaller gain of 0.09% to 10.95. The moves came as the US Dollar Index Futures, which tracks the greenback against a basket of other major currencies, was up 0.15%.
