HBX Group Lifts Full-Year Outlook on Easing Mideast Travel Impact

Summary
The Spanish travel technology firm now expects total transaction value to grow 13% to 15% this year, citing a strong third quarter and a partial recovery in travel routes affected by the Middle East conflict.
Spanish travel technology company HBX Group (BME:HBX) on Wednesday raised the lower end of its full-year forecast for total transaction value, signaling a stronger-than-expected recovery in travel demand and a reduced impact from geopolitical disruptions in the Middle East.
Revised Guidance
The company now anticipates its total transaction value (TTV) will grow between 13% and 15% for the year. This marks an upward revision from its previous guidance of 11% to 15% growth, which was issued in May amid concerns over regional conflicts.
In its update, HBX Group also narrowed its full-year revenue forecast. The company now projects revenue to land between 0% and -2%, a tighter range compared to its earlier forecast of -4% to +1%.
AdQ3 Performance and Market Context
The revised outlook follows a robust third-quarter performance, where HBX reported a 12% increase in total transaction value to €2.4 billion ($2.7 billion). The company attributed the growth to resilient demand for leisure travel and specific commercial initiatives.
The improved forecast suggests a more optimistic view on the impact of the conflict in the Middle East. The company now estimates the conflict will have a negative full-year impact of 3 percentage points on its results, an improvement from the 4 percentage points it had projected in May when it first lowered its guidance.
