Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) announced on Thursday an expansion of its CC artificial intelligence agent, rolling out new features designed for families and households. The update allows up to six members to coordinate tasks and share information through a single, verified Google account dedicated to the agent.

New Household Management Capabilities

The upgraded system is designed to act as a central hub for family logistics. According to the company, each member of the household can control what information they share with the CC agent, such as emails from schools or service providers, while keeping other personal data private.

Key features of the family-focused update include a shared daily brief called "Your Day Ahead," which summarizes important events and tasks for the household each morning. The agent can automatically track key dates and help with administrative work like filling out permission slips, creating shared shopping lists, or planning weekly meals.

Technical Integration and Rollout

To perform these tasks, the CC agent integrates with a suite of Google services, including Gmail, Calendar, Tasks, and the Google Maps API for checking live drive times. It can also create shared documents in Google Docs and Sheets. Google confirmed the agent operates on its Antigravity agentic harness and the latest Gemini models, running on isolated cloud computers.

The family-focused CC agent is being made available on web and mobile for users aged 18 and older in the United States with personal Google accounts. Google Labs stated that existing users will receive emails to upgrade in the coming days, while new users can join a waitlist.
