One of the day's most significant moves occurred on the TecDAX, where shares of biotech firm Evotec AG O.N. plummeted 24.12% to a five-year low. Meanwhile, on the MDAX, Delivery Hero AG was a standout gainer, rising 5.76%.
Broader Markets
In the wider markets, major commodities saw gains during the session. Gold Futures for August delivery were up approximately 1.51%.
Crude oil prices also advanced, with the August WTI contract climbing around 1.89% and the September Brent contract adding about 2.56%. In currency markets, the euro strengthened against the U.S. dollar, with the EUR/USD pair up 0.40%.
