Flowtech Fluidpower H1 Revenue Jumps 24% on Acquisitions, but Margins Tighten

Flowtech Fluidpower, a UK-based distributor of fluid power products, announced that its first-half revenue rose 24% year-over-year to £70.40 million. In a statement on Tuesday, the company attributed the strong top-line growth to the contribution from recent acquisitions and market share gains across its operating regions.
H1 Performance Breakdown
While revenue saw a significant uplift, profitability metrics were mixed. The company's new eCommerce platform and an expanded product range reportedly helped drive customer acquisition and grow its order book during the six-month period.
Key financial results for the first half include:
- Adjusted EBITDA: £4.50 million
- Adjusted Operating Profit: £2.30 million
- Pretax Profit: £700,000
- Basic Earnings Per Share: £0.007
AdMargin Pressures and Outlook
The company reported a decline in its gross margin during the first half. This was attributed to a combination of factors, including a lower-margin product mix from the recent Q Plus acquisition, volume growth initiatives, and persistent inflationary pressures.
Looking ahead, Flowtech's board stated that it expects full-year results for 2026 to be in line with current market expectations. The company anticipates a stronger second-half performance, forecasting higher profitability, an improved gross margin, and a significant reduction in net debt driven by stronger cash generation.
