Abrupt Boardroom Changes

flatexDEGIRO disclosed on Thursday that Hans-Hermann Lotter had stepped down from his role as chairman during a board meeting. The company stated the departure was a result of "differing views on key issues regarding flatexDEGIRO’s future strategic direction and positioning."

In addition to Lotter's immediate resignation as chairman, both he and fellow supervisory board member Martina Pfeifer will leave the board entirely no later than October 10. The board has initiated a search for qualified successors to fill the vacancies.
