DXC Technology Shares Rally on Strategic AI Partnership with ElevenLabs

Summary
Shares of the IT services firm rose after it announced a strategic partnership with and investment in AI voice company ElevenLabs, signaling a tangible step in its AI transformation strategy.
DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) stock gained 4.3% in afternoon trading on Tuesday following the announcement of a strategic partnership with ElevenLabs, an artificial intelligence audio and voice technology company. The IT services firm also disclosed its participation in ElevenLabs' recent $500 million Series D funding round, which valued the AI startup at approximately $11 billion.
AI Partnership Details
According to a press release issued July 28, 2026, the collaboration is a key part of DXC's AI-first transformation agenda. The company plans to deploy ElevenLabs' voice AI technology across its internal operations, including service desks, employee training, and knowledge management systems. DXC also intends to embed multilingual voice interfaces into its customer service platforms and other industry-specific offerings for its global client base.
"Voice is becoming a primary interface for how enterprises engage with customers and employees," said DXC CEO Raul Fernandez, adding that the partnership would allow the company "to move faster in embedding AI into everything we do." The collaboration will be managed through LabX, DXC’s AI-native product incubator, which will also co-develop commercial voice solutions.
AdMarket Reaction and Context
The market's positive response pushed DXC shares to a session high of $11.15 before closing at $10.81. The stock's performance stood out against a mixed market backdrop, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 1.1% while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite edged 0.1% lower, suggesting the rally was driven by company-specific news rather than a broader sector tailwind.
For investors, the announcement provides a concrete signal that DXC is actively deploying capital to execute its AI strategy. The move was further reinforced by the recent expansion of Holly Grant’s role to President of AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX. The rally also comes ahead of DXC's Q1 FY2027 earnings report, scheduled for July 30, 2026, for which analysts have recently revised estimates upward, indicating growing optimism.
