Devyser Q2 Sales Fall 10.7% on Distributor Inventory Adjustment

Summary
Swedish diagnostics firm Devyser reported a 10.7% year-over-year decline in second-quarter net sales, attributing the drop to a temporary inventory reduction by its largest distributor. The company expects the impact to persist through 2026 before normalizing.
Swedish diagnostics company Devyser announced a 10.7% year-over-year decline in net sales for the second quarter, a downturn it attributed to a significant inventory adjustment by its primary distribution partner.
Quarterly Performance
Devyser reported that the sales decrease was a direct result of its largest distributor reducing its inventory levels. The company anticipates that sales to this key partner will remain lower than usual for the remainder of 2026.
Key financial results for the quarter include:
- Net Income: SEK 1.60 million
- Operating Profit: SEK 500,000
- Adjusted Earnings Per Share (EPS): SEK 0.10
AdOutlook and Strategic Context
Despite the near-term sales headwind, Devyser stated it expects sales volumes to return to normal levels beginning in 2027. The company maintained its positive long-term outlook, citing that fundamental growth drivers and strong underlying demand for its products remain unchanged.
During the quarter, Devyser also advanced its strategic objectives. On April 1, it completed the acquisition of CyberGene AB, a move that expands its footprint in the aneuploidy testing segment. The company also secured a new contract in Italy valued at SEK 8.9 million.
