Computacenter Expects First-Half Profit to Double, Upgrades Full-Year Outlook

Computacenter PLC (LON:CCC) announced on Thursday a significant upgrade to its profit forecast, expecting adjusted pre-tax profit for the first half of the year to approximately double from the prior year's figure. The company attributed the revision to a second-quarter performance that surpassed its own expectations.
Upgraded Profit Guidance
In a trading update, the IT infrastructure and services provider stated it anticipates adjusted profit before tax for the first half of 2026 will reach approximately double the £81.5 million recorded in the first half of 2025. The company noted that its performance in the second quarter was ahead of its internal projections.
As a result of the strong first-half performance, Computacenter also raised its guidance for the entire year. The firm now anticipates that its full-year 2026 results will be "comfortably ahead of market expectations."
AdOutlook and Context
While the first-half outlook is robust, Computacenter did issue a note of caution for the remainder of the year. Management said the company remains "mindful of a tougher comparative in the second half of the year."
For investors, this statement suggests that while the full-year results are projected to be strong, the year-over-year growth rate may moderate in the last six months. This is because the company will be comparing its H2 2026 performance against a particularly strong period in the second half of 2025, making high-percentage growth more challenging to achieve.
