Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on PWM Bitcoin Funds, Expands Yield Offerings

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has reported a 4.9% comprehensive annualized return over the past 60 days for its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin fund products. The announcement comes as the firm expands its suite of yield-generating options for BTC holders navigating market volatility.
Fund Performance and Strategy
According to a company statement, select individual funds within its PWM offering delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%. The products are designed for investors to earn a return on their Bitcoin holdings without selling the underlying asset, utilizing a BTC-invested and BTC-settled structure.
"The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself,” said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit. He noted that the firm's products are built around this premise, enabling users to invest and settle in Bitcoin while accessing yield.
Expanded Suite for BTC Holders
Bybit detailed a tiered set of products targeting different investor profiles. The PWM offering, which requires a minimum investment of 10 BTC, is positioned for high-net-worth individuals and larger holders. Since its launch in September 2025, the PWM service has grown to manage over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios.
AdBeyond its wealth management division, the exchange offers several other options for earning yield on Bitcoin:
- On-Chain Earn: An entry-level product for users to stake BTC for a basic return.
- Advanced Earn: Structured products, such as Dual Asset and Discount Buy, designed for investors with a higher risk appetite.
For investors who prefer not to subscribe directly with Bitcoin, Bybit stated that some PWM funds can be accessed using USDT, with the flexibility to convert returns into BTC over time.
Market Context
The expansion of these yield products occurs as Bitcoin continues to trade below its previous highs, a market condition that often prompts long-term holders to seek ways to generate passive income from their assets. Bybit launched an upgraded "PWM 2.0" in June 2026, which expanded direct dashboard access for eligible high-tier users to customize their solutions.
