Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on PWM Bitcoin Funds, Expands Yield Offerings

Summary
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced its Private Wealth Management Bitcoin funds achieved a 4.9% annualized return over 60 days, as it broadens its range of yield products for BTC holders.
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit reported that its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin funds generated a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the past 60 days. The firm also noted that select individual funds delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40% as it expands its offerings for investors looking to generate returns on their BTC holdings.
Performance and Strategy
According to a company announcement on July 9, 2026, the returns were generated through its BTC-invested, BTC-settled fund structure. This approach is designed to allow investors with large Bitcoin positions to earn yield on their assets without converting them to other currencies, thereby maintaining their exposure to BTC.
“The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself,” said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit. “Our BTC-denominated PWM funds and Earn products are built around that premise, enabling users to invest and settle in BTC while accessing yield.”
Expanded Suite for BTC Holders
Bybit's PWM products are positioned for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, with a current minimum investment of 10 BTC. The firm, which says its PWM service manages over $239 million across more than 160 portfolios, is broadening its product suite to cater to different investor profiles and risk appetites.
AdBybit detailed a tiered set of BTC yield options:
- On-Chain Earn: An entry-level product for users to stake BTC for basic returns.
- Private Wealth Management (PWM): Tailored fund structures for larger holdings, with options for both BTC- and USDT-denominated investments.
- Advanced Earn: Structured products, such as Dual Asset and Discount Buy, for more sophisticated investors seeking higher potential yields.
Context and Market Positioning
Launched in September 2025, Bybit's PWM platform aims to provide more advanced allocation solutions in the digital asset space. In June 2026, the company introduced PWM 2.0, which expanded direct dashboard access to eligible VIP2+ users to allow for greater customization of their investment solutions.
The expansion of these products reflects a growing demand from long-term cryptocurrency holders for financial instruments that can generate returns during periods of market volatility, without requiring them to sell their core digital asset positions.
