Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on BTC Wealth Funds, Expands Yield Offerings

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit reported its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin funds have achieved a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the past 60 days. The firm also noted that select individual funds delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%.

Performance in a Volatile Market

Bybit's PWM strategies are structured as BTC-invested and BTC-settled, allowing investors to earn a yield on their holdings without selling the underlying asset. This approach is designed for investors who want to maintain their long-term exposure to Bitcoin while generating returns, particularly during periods of market volatility.

"The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself,” said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit. He added that the firm's BTC-denominated products are built to enable users to "invest and settle in BTC while accessing yield."

PWM Expansion and Target Audience

Launched in September 2025, Bybit's PWM service now manages over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios, according to the company. The products are positioned for high-net-worth clients and institutional investors, with a minimum investment starting at 10 BTC.

In June 2026, Bybit upgraded the service to PWM 2.0, expanding direct dashboard access to eligible VIP users and offering greater customization. While the primary products are BTC-denominated, some funds can also be accessed using USDT, with an option to convert returns into Bitcoin over time.

A Tiered Suite of BTC Yield Products

Beyond its PWM offering, Bybit provides a range of other yield products catering to different investor profiles and risk appetites:

• On-Chain Earn: An entry-level option for long-term holders to stake BTC for basic returns.
• PWM: Tailored fund structures for larger BTC holdings, as detailed above.
• Advanced Earn: Structured products like Dual Asset and Discount Buy for more sophisticated investors seeking higher potential returns and willing to accept more complex investment mechanics.
