Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on BTC Wealth Funds, Expands Yield Offerings

Summary
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced its Private Wealth Management Bitcoin funds achieved a 4.9% comprehensive annualized return over the past 60 days as it broadens its suite of yield-generating products for BTC holders.
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit reported its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin funds generated a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the past 60 days. The company also noted that select individual funds delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%.
Fund Performance and Strategy
The performance figures were released as Bybit expands its offerings for clients seeking to generate yield on their Bitcoin holdings. The PWM funds utilize a BTC-invested, BTC-settled structure, designed for investors who wish to increase their Bitcoin position rather than converting gains to fiat currency.
"The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself,” said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit, in a statement. He explained that the products are built to enable users to invest and settle in BTC while accessing yield, a strategy aimed at holders navigating market volatility.
Bybit's PWM products are positioned for high-net-worth clients, with a current minimum subscription of 10 BTC. The platform also provides options for some funds to be accessed with USDT, with a feature to convert returns into BTC over time.
Expansion of BTC Yield Products
AdBeyond its PWM offering, Bybit has structured a broader suite of BTC yield products to cater to different investor profiles and risk appetites:
- On-Chain Earn: An entry-level product allowing users to stake BTC for returns, aimed at long-term holders seeking a basic yield solution.
- Private Wealth Management (PWM): The fund-based structure for larger holdings, offering tailored BTC and USDT-denominated strategies.
- Advanced Earn: Includes structured products like Dual Asset and Discount Buy for investors with a higher risk tolerance seeking more advanced investment mechanics.
Context and Background
Launched in September 2025, Bybit's PWM division now manages over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios, according to the company. In June 2026, the exchange rolled out PWM 2.0, an update that expanded direct dashboard access to more users and introduced greater customization for wealth solutions.
