Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on Bitcoin Wealth Funds, Expands Yield Offerings

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit reported its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin fund products achieved a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the past 60 days. The firm also noted that select individual funds delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%.

Performance and Strategy

Launched in September 2025, Bybit's PWM division now manages over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios, according to the company. The funds are structured to be both invested and settled in Bitcoin (BTC), offering a way for investors to generate returns without selling their underlying crypto assets.

The service is primarily aimed at high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, with a current minimum investment of 10 BTC. Bybit stated that some funds can also be accessed using USDT, with an option to convert returns into BTC over time.

Market Context

The expansion of these products comes as Bitcoin trades below its highs from the first half of 2026, leading many long-term holders to seek ways to earn a yield on their assets during a period of volatility. "The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself," said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit, in a statement.

In June 2026, the exchange launched PWM 2.0, which expanded direct dashboard access to eligible VIP users, allowing for greater customization of wealth management solutions.

Expanded Suite of BTC Yield Products

Bybit is broadening its offerings to cater to different investor profiles and risk appetites. The expanded suite includes several tiers of products:

• On-Chain Earn: An entry-level product for users to stake BTC for a basic yield while maintaining exposure.
• Private Wealth Management (PWM): The fund structure tailored for larger holdings, starting at 10 BTC.
• Advanced Earn: Structured products, such as Dual Asset and Discount Buy, designed for investors with a higher risk appetite seeking more complex yield strategies.
