Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on Bitcoin Wealth Funds, Expands Yield Offerings

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit reported that its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin fund products delivered a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the last 60 days. The firm also noted that select individual funds achieved 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%.

Fund Performance and Strategy

According to a company announcement, Bybit's PWM division, which launched in September 2025, now manages over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios. The funds are structured to be both invested and settled in Bitcoin, offering a way for investors to generate returns while maintaining direct exposure to the cryptocurrency.

The PWM products are targeted toward high-net-worth clients and institutional investors, with a minimum subscription of 10 BTC. Bybit also provides options for some funds to be accessed with USDT, allowing returns to be converted into BTC over time.

Market Context and Rationale

The expansion of these yield products comes as Bitcoin trades below its highs from the first half of 2026, prompting many long-term holders to seek ways to generate returns on their assets during periods of volatility. Bybit's strategy aims to address this demand.

“The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself,” said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit. He added that the firm's BTC-denominated products are built around this premise.

Bybit has structured its BTC yield offerings to cater to a range of investor profiles and risk appetites:

• Private Wealth Management (PWM): Tailored fund structures for larger holdings, starting at 10 BTC.
• Advanced Earn: Structured products, such as Dual Asset and Discount Buy, designed for investors seeking more complex strategies and potentially higher returns.
