Market Context and Restrictions

This type of promotion is a common strategy among cryptocurrency exchanges to stimulate user acquisition and increase activity on specific platform features. By incentivizing fiat on-ramps, Bybit aims to lower the barrier for new capital entering its ecosystem, while promoting its payment card service seeks to increase the platform's utility for everyday transactions.

Bybit stated that participation is subject to geographic restrictions. The promotion is not available to users in the European Economic Area. Additionally, users from several other jurisdictions are ineligible for rewards, including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Indonesia, South Korea, Mexico, the Philippines, and Vietnam, among others listed in the official terms.
