The card supports spending in both Peruvian Soles (PEN) for local transactions and U.S. Dollars (USD) for international purchases. According to the company, the virtual card has no issuance or annual fees and draws directly from a user's account balance, aiming to facilitate seamless transactions between digital assets and traditional fiat spending.
To mark the launch, Bybit is offering a promotional package for new users in Peru. The welcome offer includes a potential total of 120 USDT in rewards, consisting of a 10 USDT airdrop after an initial deposit and up to 110 USDT in special cashback on certain purchases during the first 30 days. The card also features ongoing rewards, such as tiered cashback and rebates on select digital subscriptions.
AdPatricio Mesri, Bybit's Country Manager for Spanish-speaking Latin America, commented on the launch, noting the growth of digital payments in Peru. The company stated that the move is part of a broader strategy to provide practical financial tools in emerging markets and reflects a long-term vision for user-focused growth in the region.
