Burkhalter H1 Earnings Per Share Rise 8% on Energy Efficiency Demand

Burkhalter, a Swiss provider of energy-efficient building technology, reported an 8% year-over-year increase in earnings per share for the first half of 2026, even as sales remained flat. The company's performance was bolstered by robust demand for energy solutions and an active acquisition strategy.
H1 Financial Performance
For the six-month period, Burkhalter announced that earnings per share (EPS) climbed to CHF 2.44. This growth in profitability occurred despite sales holding steady at CHF 587.3 million. The company's net income for the period reached CHF 25.9 million.
According to the company, the results were supported by two key market trends: strong demand for energy-efficient building solutions and an increase in renovation activity. This suggests an improvement in profit margins, as the company was able to grow earnings without a corresponding increase in top-line revenue.
AdStrategic Acquisitions and Outlook
Burkhalter's growth strategy was also a significant factor in its first-half performance. The company successfully completed five acquisitions during the period, which it stated helped expand its regional presence and add specialized expertise to its operations.
Looking ahead, Burkhalter confirmed a positive outlook for the full 2026 financial year, citing sustained strong market demand. The company projects a moderate increase in earnings per share for 2026 compared to the previous year and noted that its acquisition strategy remains a key pillar for sustainable growth.
