Background

BTSE Group, a global blockchain and digital asset company, announced the official launch of BTSE Indonesia, a regulated cryptocurrency exchange. The new platform is the result of a joint venture with PT Aset Kripto Internasional and involves the rebranding of NVX, an existing Indonesian digital asset platform.

Under the joint venture, BTSE Group will provide the trading infrastructure, technology, and liquidity for the exchange. The local entity, BTSE Indonesia, will manage user acquisition, marketing, sales, and local partnerships, leveraging its knowledge of the Indonesian market to drive growth.

BTSE Indonesia has secured a license from the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) to operate as a regulated Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets Trading Operator (PAKD). This regulatory approval allows the exchange to offer services such as Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) deposits and withdrawals, as well as IDR-denominated trading pairs, in collaboration with local banks and payment gateways.
