Among the session's biggest decliners on the BEL 20 were D’Ieteren NV, which fell by 3.99%. Aperam SA also saw a significant drop, declining by 3.59%, while Umicore SA was down 2.95%.

In contrast, a few companies posted gains. Melexis NV was the top performer, rising 1.79%. Azelis Corporate Services NV added 0.66%, and Ageas gained 0.35%, with its shares reportedly reaching a 5-year high.
