- Anheuser Busch Inbev (EBR:ABI): gained 1.49% to end at 70.72.
- Aperam (AS:APAM): was up 1.15%, trading at 47.52.
Umicore Leads Decliners
AdWeighing on the index was a significant drop in shares of materials technology group Umicore. The company's stock was the session's worst performer, capping broader gains for the index.
The biggest decliners were:
- Umicore (EBR:UMI): fell sharply by 4.32% to trade at 19.27.
- Elia (EBR:ELI): declined 2.60% to finish at 135.10.
- Melexis (EBR:MLXS): was down 2.46%, closing at 71.40.
Commodities and Currencies

August Gold Futures were down 1.17% to $4,004.37 per troy ounce, while Crude oil for August delivery slipped 0.03% to $79.58 a barrel.
