Vantage Rolls Out 24/7 Gold CFD Trading with New Product

Summary
Multi-asset broker Vantage has introduced XAUUSD247, an over-the-counter gold CFD that allows eligible clients to trade the precious metal around the clock, including on weekends.
Multi-asset broker Vantage Markets has launched a new over-the-counter (OTC) financial product that enables clients to trade gold contracts for difference (CFDs) 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The new offering, named XAUUSD247, provides continuous market access beyond the traditional five-day trading week.
Product Specifications
According to the company's announcement on July 4, 2026, the XAUUSD247 product is designed to offer traders more flexibility. It will be available to eligible clients on the MT5 and TradingView platforms, as well as the Vantage App.
Key features of the new gold CFD include:
- Contract Size: A smaller one-ounce contract, compared to the broker's traditional 100-ounce XAUUSD product.
- Leverage: Tiered leverage of up to 100x is available, subject to position size and account conditions.
- Cost Structure: The product does not carry a separate trading commission, though spreads and financing charges will apply.
Ad"XAUUSD247 provides eligible clients with access to gold CFDs beyond standard market hours, supported by transparent product mechanics and clearly defined trading controls," said Marc Despallieres, Chief Executive Officer at Vantage, in the statement.
Market Context and Risk Controls
The launch comes as major exchanges consider extending trading hours. Vantage noted that CME Group recently announced its own plans to expand trading for certain gold futures products to 24/7, pending regulatory review. Vantage clarified that its XAUUSD247 is a separate OTC offering.
To manage the risks associated with continuous, leveraged trading, Vantage has incorporated net and gross exposure limits at the account level. If an account's exposure reaches a predefined threshold, it will be placed into a "close-only" mode until the exposure is reduced below the limit. The company stated that trading conditions, including leverage and spreads, may vary based on client region and account type.
