First Solar (FSLR) also saw a significant decline of 10.32%, hitting a 52-week low. In contrast, Moderna (MRNA) was a bright spot, surging 6.98% to a three-year high.
Commodities and Currencies
In the commodities market, energy prices saw a significant rally. Crude oil for November delivery increased by 3.17% to $95.08 a barrel, while the Brent oil contract rose 4.13% to $107.34 a barrel.
Gold futures for December delivery traded lower, falling 0.40%. In currency markets, the US Dollar Index Futures gained 0.23%, reflecting a stronger dollar against a basket of currencies.
