Dormakaba Posts 4% Organic Sales Growth in Q1, Reaffirms Full-Year Outlook

Dormakaba Holding AG (DOKA) reported a 4.0% increase in organic sales for the first quarter of its 2026/27 fiscal year, supported by a mix of higher volumes and pricing adjustments. The security and access solutions provider reaffirmed its full-year financial guidance in its initial quarterly trading update.
First-Quarter Performance
According to the company's report, total net sales reached CHF 702.9 million. The organic growth was composed of a 1.3% increase in volume and a 2.7% contribution from pricing measures.
Performance varied across its business segments. The Access Solutions division recorded strong volume growth, while the Key & Wall Solutions division's growth was primarily driven by price increases implemented to offset inflation in raw material costs.
Net merger and acquisition activity, including three bolt-on acquisitions, contributed 0.2% to sales, as the impact of acquisitions was largely offset by divestments. Favorable foreign exchange effects provided an additional 1.1% lift, bringing total reported net sales growth to 5.2%.
AdOutlook and Market Context
Dormakaba confirmed it is maintaining its financial targets for the full 2026/27 fiscal year. The company's guidance projects:
- Net sales growth: Above 3%
- Operating profit margin: Above 11%
- Operating cash flow margin: Between 10.5% and 11.5%
The company's performance compares to recent results from industry peers. Assa Abloy reported 4% organic growth in its latest quarter, while Allegion posted 7% organic growth, driven by a strong performance in the United States. Analysts note that Dormakaba has a lower exposure to the Americas markets compared to these competitors.
